Wheel side CV joint boot kit contains the clamps, grease, and boot for the front and rear half shaft of the drive train. The CV joint keeps your wheels aligned and turning, and prevents your axle from breaking when traveling over rough terrain.

The wheel side joint and the gear side joint are protected by a boot. If the boot tears, grease leaks out and contaminants, like water, are let in. This can cause your CV joint to rust, destroying the joint.

If you notice grease on the inside of your wheel or vibration while driving, it is time to replace your boot. Replacing your boot as soon as it is damaged can prevent a costlier replacement of the entire axle.
