Key Maintenance Schedule for Your Bobcat Compact Wheel Loader Model

Every so often your equipment will need a little care to keep it up and running in best conditions. The maintenance schedule below has been outlined by Bobcat as the best times to conduct maintenance and replacements of parts over the lifespan of your machine.

This guide will help you keep your equipment safe and healthy throughout it's lifespan of use. (Note: Each maintenance checklist should be completed after every outlined interval).

Key Maintenance & Repairs

After each 100 hours of machine use

  1. Engine Cooling System - Clean out and check.
  2. Wheel Nuts - Check and appropriately torque to listed degree.

Every 500 hours of machine up-time

  1. Engine oil & filter - Replace oil and filter.
  2. Hydrostatic filter - Replace component filter.
  3. Alternator & AC (if equipped) - Check and replace alternator and AC belts if needed.
  4. Axle oil - Check axel and differential, replace axle oil.
  5. Cab air filters - Fresh air filter & recirculation filters should be checked and replaced if needed.
  6. Battery & electric cables - Check condition of cables and replace machine battery if needed.

After every 1,000 hours using your machine

  1. Engine & inner air filters - Replace inner air filter and outer air filter.
  2. Fuel filter - Replace main fuel filter, fuel pre-filter & fuel tank vent filter.
  3. Hydraulic fluid - Replace all hydraulic fluid.
  4. Hydraulic tank breather - Hydraulic tank breather component.
  5. Heater coil & AC evaporator - Contact your bobcat dealer.

Due after each 1,500 hours of up-time

  1. Engine coolant - Replace engine coolant for machine.
