Key Maintenance Schedule for Your Bobcat Mini Track Loader Model

Every so often your equipment will need a little care to keep it up and running in best conditions. The maintenance schedule below has been outlined by Bobcat as the best times to conduct maintenance and replacements of parts over the lifespan of your machine.

Use the links below to navigate the guide outlined by Bobcat. This guide will help you keep your equipment safe and healthy throughout it's lifespan of use. (Note: Each maintenance checklist should be completed after every outlined interval).

After 24+ Months Usage

Key Maintenance & Repairs

After every 50 hours using your machine

  1. Hydraulic Hoses and Tubelines - Check for damage and leaks. Repair or replace as needed.
  2. Controls - Check for correct operation. Adjust, repair or replace as needed.
  3. Undercarriage - Check for loose bolts and nuts.
  4. Track Tension - Check every 8 - 10 hours for the first 50 hours, then as scheduled. Check tension and adjust as needed.

After 100 hours of machine up-time

  1. Engine Oil and Filter - Service at first 50 hours, then as scheduled. Replace oil and filter.
  2. Battery - Check battery for damage. Check cables, connections, and electrolyte level; add distilled water as needed.
  3. Drive Belts (Alternator / Water Pump / Fan Drive) - Check condition. Replace as needed.
  4. Spark Arrestor Muffler - Clean spark chamber.

After 250 hours of machine use or 12 months time

  1. Fuel Filter - Replace filter.
  2. Lift Arm Lockout - Check function of manual bypass control.

Every 500 hours up-time or 12 months of time

  1. Hydraulic Filter and Hydraulic Reservoir Breather Cap - Service filter at first 50 hours, then as scheduled. Replace the hydraulic filter and the reservoir breather cap.
  2. Drive Belt (Hydrostatic) - Check condition. Adjust or replace as needed.
  3. Alternator and Starter - Service at first 50 hours, then as scheduled. Check connections.

After every 1,000 hours or every 12 months

  1. Engine Valves - Service at first 500 hours, then as scheduled. Adjust the engine valve clearance.
  2. Hydraulic Fluid and Filters - Replace hydraulic fluid and filters.

After each 24 months of use

  1. Coolant - Replace the coolant.
