Online Training for the Safe Operation of Aerial Lifts

Williams Machinery offers a range of online courses designed to help you operate various types of aerial lifts, sometimes referred to as mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), safely and efficiently. These courses focus on boom lifts, scissor lifts, and vehicle-mounted aerial lifts, and are intended to equip operators with the knowledge needed to work confidently with this equipment. You will learn to identify common hazards, understand inspection requirements, and apply safe work practices when operating aerial lifts.

Aerial Lift Safety - MEWPs (CAN)
A Canada-compliant online training course for Aerial Lifts (Boom Lifts & Scissor Lifts). This course satisfies Canada's requirements for the classroom portion of operator safety training. Quiz questions along the way prepare you for the final written exam. I-CAB recognized.

Aerial Platform - Boom & Scissor Safety
The Aerial Platform – Boom & Scissor course aims to reduce the risks related to straight telescoping boom, articulating boom, and scissor lift type mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) by teaching you the fundamentals of safe operating procedures.

Boom & Scissor Lift Pre-Shift Inspection
This micro-learning module is part of the Mobile Equipment Pre-Shift Inspection Series. This short course covers the basics of pre-shift inspections for aerial platforms. Great for refreshers or toolbox talks and tailgate meetings! You can take this course for FREE!

Vehicle Mounted Aerial Lift Safety (CAN)
You will learn the set-up and safe operation of vehicle mounted aerial lifts (bucket trucks, cherry pickers). This course covers the anatomy of the equipment, the importance of pre-shift inspections, stability and safe operation principles, and how to avoid common hazards associated with aerial lift operation.

Boom Lift - Operator Safety (CAN)
This online course focusses on the boom lift (or cherry picker), and is designed to provide a strong foundation in safe operating practices. Successful participants will be able to identify the uses of a boom lift, understand the parts of the equipment, and apply essential safety measures to minimize hazards.
