The JCB 506-36 is the smallest high-boom model in JCB’s Lift & Place range, combining a 6,000 lb maximum lift capacity with a 36 ft lift height and 24 ft of forward reach. It retains its full 6,000 lb capacity at maximum height and can carry 1,800 lb at full reach, giving contractors useful placement capability for masonry, framing and general construction work without stepping into a larger telehandler class.

Power comes from a 74 hp JCB EcoMAX Tier 4 Final diesel engine. Front-wheel, all-wheel and crab steering help the 506-36 move efficiently around active jobsites, while frame sway allows the operator to level the machine before lifting on uneven ground. Standard auxiliary hydraulics and proportional boom controls support attachment work, making the 506-36 a versatile option for contractors who need both reach and maneuverability.
