Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is a comprehensive system designed to give employers and workers information about hazardous products used in the workplace. It ensure that workers receive consistent information about hazard identification, labelling, and safety data sheets. Canada has aligned the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), and is known as WHMIS 2025.

This online WHMIS 2025 (GHS-aligned) course provides comprehensive training on the current Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System requirements in Canada. The course covers essential WHMIS components, including hazard identification, WHMIS pictograms, supplier and workplace labels, safety data sheets (SDS), and worker education and training obligations. Upon successful completion, learners will have a clear understanding of what WHMIS is, the roles and responsibilities of employers, suppliers, and workers, and how WHMIS helps protect workers from chemical and physical hazards in the workplace.

WHMIS 2025 Refresher
This course serves as refresher training for workers who have successfully taken WHMIS/GHS training in the past.
This course is not a substitute for the full 2-hour WHMIS 2025 course.
This refresher course reviews the key elements of WHMIS with the recent updates made under the Hazardous Products Regulations. Learners revisit the purpose of WHMIS and its alignment with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), while also explaining what materials are exempt from WHMIS. It reinforces the importance of recognizing hazard symbols quickly in the workplace.
